Looks like Verizon Wireless lost a class action lawsuit for their misrepresentation of the Bluetooth features on the Motorola V710 cell phone. (Stick it to the man!)

Motorola V710
If you have a Motorola V710 and want to keep the phone still, you’re entitled to $25. If you want to return the phone, you’ll get full payment price back if you have a receipt. If you lost the receipt, you’re entitled to a $200 refund. I paid $150 for my phone. I’ll be going to lose my receipt later.

And of course, if you’ve been dying to get out of Verizon contract, you can do so too.

  3. My claim #1043, My cell #917/841-2608
I have a problem and cannot get help. I mailed everything back to Verizon along time ago, my cell phone, accessories and bills for everything they asked for. This was all sent Federal Express paid by me on April 13, 2006.
Now on July 27, 2006, i received a letter stating that have no documentations on my claim of purchasing a new phone when all this was sent Federal Express. I had spoke to one of their representives a while ago and he was very nasty and I got no where. They claim they received a packet from me but yet they can’t help me. I am confused. Can you help me?
