Project Voodoo Aizan 29er Singlespeed

After much thought and deliberation, I’ve decided to pick up a new 29er single speed frame. Behold - the Voodoo Aizan 29er frame made of scandium.

So the frame is on order and should be here later this week. I will begin parting out my beloved pink Surly 1×1 and selling it to fund this new frame. More than likely, my Surly’s last ride will be at the Acura LA Bike Tour this Sunday.

So why the new frame you ask?

I’m jumping onto the 29er bandwagon
Yes. I needed a change. No, it’s not you, it’s me.

I wanted a lighter bike
The Surly is a pig at close to 5 lbs. The Voodoo Aizan should weigh in at a race ready 3.3lbs.

I got tired of people snickering as I rode by
Yes, those young boys facetiously yelling out “Nice bike!’ did not help. Kids can be so mean.
