I got my makeshift ghetto photography studio up and running in the garage last weekend so I could dabble with product photography. Yeah, it looks pretty ghetto. I’m using two cheapie 250W lights with diffusers I found on eBay and a white paper background. The paper is taped onto my telescoping light bulb changer, which is then zip tied to a hanging loft. Yes, that’s hell of a lot cheaper than a $50 background stand.

I still have to play around with the lights to get the look I want. Here’s a sample of one of the shots I took so far. Haven’t done any touchups in Photoshop yet.
